Should Shahrukh khan go ahead with the Lux cozi deal?

Shahrukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders has put on hold its tie-up with hosiery brand Lux Cozi, a deal that had earned widespread criticism and anger among the people of the city where, the owner of the innerwear brand Ashok Todi, an accused in Rizwanur Rahman suicide case occurred 2 years back, was supposed to be associated with KKR's apparel merchandising and signed the Bollywood star as their brand ambassador. Even, the Imam of Kolkata's second biggest mosque had written to Khan, appealing to scrap the deal.

Whereas, both the sides have stated that the deal was truly professional and offered a sound synergic alliance between the two organisations. No matters concerning individuals associated with the respective organisations were envisaged as this was a purely professional tie-up.

So users, do you think Kolkata Knight riders should go ahead with the Lux cozi deal?

SRK has become just a money minting machine.If he has to retain his popularity,I believe he has to keep the sentiments of the people in mind too.

Let me Remind You people, Shah Rukh Khan is not only a human. He is also a Brand. So, he needs to be Professional while taking decisions about any of his Ventures.

 

Since, his personal interfering has already Screwed up KKR's performance!

Certainly. Why mix business with religion and emotions? SRK should not only continue with the business deal KKR has with Lux Cozi but also keep endorsing the brand.

I completely agree with Himanshu, Shah Rukh & Rizwanur have absolutely no Connections. Though Kolkataites might have their own Feelings towards the Mr. Todi.

 

I think there should not be any comparison or connection of KKR with Mr. Todi's past.

I can't understand what Shahrukh Khan has to do with Rizwanur Rahman death case? He is noway related to any of the parties. He is just the owner of KKR and has full rights to get tie up with any company who can sponsor him. When Lux Cozi is sponsoring him, why should he leave the deal? and what relations he has with the Todi's is his personal matter. What does the people has to do with it? Public interest should go beyond the cricket they see on TV. I think the media is highlighting this case more than required.

He should not go for it ...cause in INDIA its never towards professionalism when it comes to creating controversy people dont understand its highly about business.we all are more towards the image of person, image of things person is related to,n many of the times it is seen because of the choice of the products/brands the image goes towards defame...n u never know...media people can fire on shahrukh too for nothing...jokes apart,it wil definatly damage his public profile.

for celebrity it is always helpful to stay away from such things and be as clean as possible.

Making professional dealings with an criminal case accused can defame Shahrukh Khan more. Already he is in so much controversy. He shouldn't deal with any more case which will create more bad news for him. This dealing has made many Kolkatians upset. So I think its good for Shahrukh to step back from this deals. He can get many more financers other than Todis.
