Dear Mano Very simple, draft a petition and take it to the labour court, if that fails, file a PIL in your high court. Also send a press release to all media outfits. Do you have any written praise from your boss about your good performance ? If so, enclose it with the press release. Otherwise see if your team leader or colleague could vouch for you and take a written statement from them. ALso group together similar employees who have suffered in his hand and together file your petition / PIL. It will carry more weight.

there should be the balance between your salary and job-role. though more than 90% prefer good salary as motivation to you job-role. what is the use of having job-role with less package? in this competitive world your current salary level will define your future salary ofcourse with required job role

no matter what people say or do, in the end the only that really matters is money & that real solid cash & not just money on paper which might become cash in the future.... people may say that they do what they do because they like doing it... well if you like doing it so much, then why don't you do it for free??? people may say that what really matters is job satisfaction, but they fail to accept the fact that for real job satisfaction, the power of decision making is needed, which is hardly there in any kind of job ....

The Organisation which is recruiting tests the capability and capacity of one while recruiting and offers a salary based on its assessment and the job role. One does not get a fat salary if the organisation is not convinced. If one gets a fat salary then one can accept the same and job role is fitted into it.

In theory go for the ideal job do what excites you etc etc...in practice its the fat salary which matters cos any job beyond a point get on to you, either the job becomes monotonous or you may end up having a nerd as your boss....at teh end of the day we all are not turning young, create wealth for yourself and secure your future. Idealism sounds good in MBA classes or CFA exams, it is always better to sulk in a mercedes or bmw than on a bicycle.

My preference is a fat salary. If the job role that does not guarantee a good package is useless. Job profile is always matched with salary package. Never a job takes a role on its own. Good salary deal means, certainly, there will be a desired role and satisfaction. No one will dare to give a good salary without a specific task.

definitely job role is the important one. There should be a good ob role for a person in case of organisation. A good & satisfactory job role can lead a organisation to the highest position.A good job role can fulfill the motto of organisational productivity rather than a fat salary.

Job role is definately what we should go for .It is because of this that we get exposed to the our area of proficiency and utilise the knowledge gained over the years to enhance our capabilities and designation with it'synonyms being fat salary

Initially the concentration should be on a better job role. Learn as much as one can and get as much exposure as possible in as many areas as possible. Once adequate skillsets have been acquired and experience got, the salary will follow ....

Better job role as monetary satisfaction is secondary to job satisfaction. If you are being paid a bomb but not happy in your job, then of what use is it ? Satisfy your soul first before your physical self.

if the profile is good definitly u get good salary, just u need to prove yourself and then ask for salary, see money is imp but if u dont get satisfaction in wht are u doing how will u enjoy money and profile. if the profile weightage is good, u get more chances in market and money will follow u, u need not to follow money.

Definitely a better job role should be on a career oriented person's mind than the salary.Only when the job is satisfactory would the person be able to perform his job effectively. The salary will follow with better performance.

yes i would go with Mr. Nikhil..as such we should not run for salary perks..once we are in good and satisfactory job role, thats going to follow for sure. good reputation and position is always achieved by good job role and not higher salary...
