Well, with a small IT company we can manage our infrastructure ourselves. But when a company progresses it becomes very difficult fo rit to concentrate on every function. Then arises the need to outsourcing the relevant job.

So is it good option to outsource the management of IT infrastructure?

This a very relative issue. Firstly if the company is still small and doesn't require that much then it doesn't make sense in outsourcing.  But when your company needs it you can definitely outsource it as it is not the core competency of the company.
