YES. When you are imposing such a difficult decision on your employees, CEO s should come first, and set an example. This will motivate employees as they will not feel that they have been made scapegoat and all others are enjoying.

Cutting the salary of CEO alone is unfair.. If a salary cut is declared for all the employees, definitely salary of CEO also should be reduced. In my opinion, CEO's should reduce their expenses and should compramise on allowences which will result in savings for the company.

Yes, Why not....? CEO should lead by example... If CEO is the first person to be effected then asking a salary reduction for other employees becomes more resonable.

Yes many of the CEO's are still getting huge salaries, even in the time of recession which is like no sense, and one should follow CEO's like Vikram pandit and Google CEO who had their salaries 1$ for this year, so i think the salaries of CEO's should be reduced.

acc to me YES if by reducing their salaries they can contribute something than why not. Even US president Mr.Obama has asked the company chiefs to reduce their salaries to contribute towards the profit of the company

When everybody is getting their salaries even in recession why should the CEO's be stopped from getting their salaries, why only they should have a cut let everybody have a cut during this recession, and i don't see no justice where CEO's getting salary of 1$ for a year... It should be same for all.
