In construction industry all works is a result of team effort. Obviously Site Workers do hard work in field but credits should go to both Site workers and Office workers.

Both who worked in site and office have different types of job but we have to see things in a different dimension that is every office work is on a neat and fine table. We can draw or calculate everything very accurately, but in a site there is different obstacles is to be faced during the succession which can't predicted and there will be no time to take a decision. So I think the person who are in site is more stressed as a professional. So I giving my support to site workers.

site worker has to exert more than office worker, but one should not forget that without office worker niether the work can be started nor be completed, but without site worker what has been cooked in office can't be consumed.H ence we can not compare them even then site worker should have upper hand ,at the time of strike by site worker whole office with responsible officer have to run to site to calm them down.

I actually agree with previous contributions both for or against site workers or office workers taken credit over a completed projects, but the facts still remains: the site workers should take the credit if narrowly for the acumen and other risk involved to put down physically that which was proposed on the paper cum mindsets. At this juncture, the contributions of the office workers cannot be underestimated for all the necessary details put in place before the contract award, during contract execution and completion.

If we refer to onsite projects, no doubt site workers are the key to success. Working at sites entails huge and unsurmountable difficulties, which they eventually do and meet success. Office workers do have a hand in supporting and fecilitating the success, but success is undoubtedly field workers.

1. If Office Workers dont make drwings, contracts, reports, manuals, accoints, billing, salaries, planning , procurement will Site people able to do execution? 2. If site workers dont carry works, then monwy wont come in. So both are equally important. Site people think office people do little works and more holidays. But if u count the site people doing actual execution hours at site they may be at paror lower per capita. Both of them are having different skill sets, so they are doing differnt role. Try to interchange their roles, 90% people will fail. So Site workers should stop thinking bad about office and vice versa. Co-operation is key.

All the construction works mainly performed by site workers. The site workes have no rest at all at work
site. They have to face various types of odd situations like climate,
management pressure & pressure form worker levels, local problems,
etc . It is Site worker who completes the job successfully. In contrast office worker only commands and enjoys luxurious items So credits should go to site workers.

Both Site and Office staff work towards achieving a common goal. Though they carry out different functions, integrated working plays a key role in the success of the Project. While the Site job involves more physical exertion, the Office job extends administrative support to the Site by taking equal strain and tensions. They manage accounts and transactions, purchase and sales, inventory, communication etc which are vital for proper controls in execution. Both should be willing to share the credit.

I agree with Devi Ji.One cannot compare the two mentioned designations as they both have their own different work and neither of them have anything to do with each other so there is no point of taking credit for the same work.
