Actually, Leena, I see more kids communicating and connecting than before. 'If Social Networking didnt exist then people will communicate better' is not correct. However, I agree with your "Addiction" statement, though. I think we are spending more time 'Communicating" than ever, be it business meetings, group discussions etc.. Ultimately it is "Productive Work" that brings bread to the table. We may be losing sight of that while 'Networking'.

social networks now a days..become the access points....everybody want to ba a part of the social network site.
social
network is the plateform where you share your moments,
happiness,images.videos,thoughts.....with your friends. its a plateform
where you want to share everything ......it's easy ,fast ,n free.
but
you can,t say what you share must be true......peoples have many fake
ids n fake profiles they surf profile n saving private images ,make
people fool.

YOU CAN'T RELY A PERSON WITH WHOM YOU ARE TALKING ON A SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE, THERE ARE A FEW PROFILES EXIST THAT ARE REALLY GENUINE AND SOME ARE COMPLETELY FAKE, IN SPITE OF ALL THE DETAILS UPLOADED, INCLUDING ADDRESS OF A PERSON, YOU CAN'T JUDGE IT AS GENUINE. SPENDING A LEISURE ON THESE SITES TO SOME EXTENT DOESN'T MATTER AT ALL, BUT ONE SHOULD NOT GET ADDICTED TO THESE SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES. THANKS FOR REFERRAL LEENA...

I agree. Its better to know meet a person face to face than chat on a social networking site. Kids have forgotten outdoor games due to growing trend of social networking. Social networks can be disastrous if kids get addicted to it.

@Shuchi, A survey says: An average individual spends more than 72 hours on the Internet! "This generation is unique," Taylor said. "Teen life has become a theatrical, self-directed media production." :) #WeLoveVirtualLife! (:

Social networks are good until addiction or desperation kicks in... (not to forget ill-health and "dumbness" in some instances) Interacting with people around you is more important than tweeting, posting or scrapping! Forgetting the true emotions is something that nobody should afford to lose! (This actually happens in the sub conscious and the results such as behavioral changes are noticed in long periods of time!!) Cant say F1 ! F1 ! when your drowning instead of calling out "Help"! LOL! Turning into a Computer Zombie! :) Thanks for the support n referral @Leena!

Dear Leena, I fully endorse your views.Social net working sites are mostly frequented by those who either have lot of precious time to fritter away with out any tangible gain in the name of social interaction or retired and with out business/job persons with all the time and memories but no body to share. It may be good initially to get acquainted with a like minded person but subsequently it should be one to one through email exchanges and to make it personal and not allow it to be a subject matter for general consumption and gossip.A real social net working has to be through a face to face contact helping in knowing the person in and out for mutual betterment , help/assistance in difficult times. We should try to know and socialize with the known near ones first rather than hunting for unknown who is difficult to judge how good or bad he/she is.
