I believe that for the most of the famous people and celebrities those, who are into somee kind of social welfare are more of a passion.

At some time it becomes more of interest that what difference you can make to the life of other people without seeking any benefits from them.

if it not passion, it can not go long and many of the famous people and celebrities are involved in this from ages.

No matter if social work is a fashion or passion to the celebrities, if the social work is bringing positive results then it is definitely good for the society. Also when celebrities do it, it is an inspiration for the youth and they follow it. That is a great sign of achievement. It is completely personal that the social work is a fashion or passion, but if some poor is benefited by it, that itself is divine. Social work something should come directly from heart. What you give to the society, same you will get. These days social work is taking place of USP for any program/event/organization to be sold to the mass. Its a responsibility of each human being to help others, thats the way we can differentiate our origin in nature.

Social work is a passion not every ones cup of tea. I wish it becomes a fashion so that more of the young turks join it. Its more of the media's need to cover up such social acts from the VIPs. with 24 hr channels & news print competiting for the eye balls the attentition is also, going to be on people who take up social work. I believe it to be a good motivator for the person involved and also for those who watch them. Ask the people who receive benefits from social service ,the relief that they get from their troubles.A service is a service even if it is done to remain in the lime light.

Next time when U see a social worker on the tube just think that he is calling you to join in the lime light by doing your bit of it.

Yeh, i do understand that there are also people who are just interested in the lime light & not in the service part. But, then there will always be people like them. WE as a possitive people are always far more powerful to even think about those people.

Wish more of us take up social work, Be popular & Enjoy life by sharing our abilities for the betterment of all.

Mere fashion. Look around..see for yourself. Fashion to create brand value and social image. Most of them may not be aware of the theme their NGO is working for. NGO gets the funding by engaging hot brands and they get easy stardom with almost no cost..

What would i say about social work ? where is social work taken place..its just a way to endorse own self with the help of society nothing else. Take any example from celeb side... they establish a NGO but what is it all about just a source of self branding & tax saving.

Yes, they help the society one side but other side is self-branding, taxes & all that.

I can't help being critical of this view because it's the same people who are passionate about social work, who go about killing and robbing others incessantly. I believe that social work needs a certain mindset and patience to show results, which people who are high on fashion will just not possess.

Social work is more of a fashion , soem old people get into it to wipe all all their sins , some young get into it to kill time and till they geta  good job, some do so for the limelight

As for ladies well good thing to talk over in kitty parties

There is notthing called social work no one does service to society for free there is always a giev and take in every activity
