Almost 100 millions people were on TV,AT TEMPLES,RIVER BANKS,PONDS(KURUKSHETRA SAROVAR& OTHER), IN PLANES,PLANETARIUM ,LABS etc,to see ,worship ,take holy baths on the occasion of longest solar eclipse,which will be repeated after 125 years in INDIA.

As per our mythology worshipingand taking bath in various places is the old history of our culture not less 5000years,it is increasing as far as followers  number is concern.

I would like to have a debate for these type of incidents,mythology is having upper hand over astronomy+ astrology=science or it is due to science the crowed increasing .

Not only Indians ,many in other countries go for holy dips in holy rivers and ponds(sarovers)and worship almighty god for the planet ,who is also worshiped as god( devta).

Totally agree with you here Mr. Dikshit, it has nothing got to do with science but more to do with our culture and mythology, just because NASA told taregna would be the best place to watch the eclipse there were more people but it has mainly got to do with mythology and people still believe in things that taking a dip in holy river will do good for them....so Mythology has its strong roots in Indian culture and even in other places as well.
