It seems everyone is looking to take advantage of the growing demand for media and entertainment related services in the mobile space.  As everyone is going tech savvy today, it would be great to know your views on this.

It is indeed a step forward Yash and I can understand your being excited too !! :))

In the larger picture though I do not see this as a reason to become a member of a particular SP or even be a more avid watcher of Star News!! It has to do with the members personal liking too. I would subscribe for news on my mobile if I was on the road with a suitcase for days on end!! But I like to watch the news on the telly in the confines and comforts of my drawing room!! And today it may be a promotional free service from a particular SP, tomorrow when more SP's jump into the fray the services will be available by charging a premium to the consumer!! So the whole ball game of using these innovative non traditional media is the LIFE cycle that they offer and at what cost??

But its a beginning of a new way to bully the member in PAYING UP!! :))

i feel it is a good thing. With increasing travel and work, getting the news online should help. Although some things like sports will always be enjoyed on big screen, the mobile TV will be readily accepted.

I quite like the idea of a news channel being aired on the mobile phones.Especially for people in bigger towns, it would be great to catch up on the latest news even while one is travelling.Though i have my doubts on the concept being popular in smaller towns.

TV programmes in mobile phones are exciting for everybody. Earlier also I have seen people very excitingly welcoming the movies in cell phones. With the introduction of news channels in cell phones, it will become very easy for those busy people who don't everyday get time to sit in front of TV to watch news. Now, with this step, they can watch news anywhere just in their cell phones. I think this will be a great approach...

Hi Allies This Prog., must be banned as far my concern is there any possibility to watch this prog, with your children? (You are aware that children are the fabulous learners in the world) And I am not criticizing the producers or the people who has put lot of their efforts to bring this concept into a realistic one, but they have to think, if they ask some Q to the contestants, in that place should they be placed their family members? I think definitely not (If it was me definitely I will not do it). And moreover we need to think of ethics, which offering money to them and getting the useless truths from them which will spoil their entire family life(as they are not the famous personalities or Political People even it is not necessary), If many of you may not agree with my opinion but just think of it. Money is a necessary thing to lead the life, but it is not every thing in the life. Without a family or supporters or love (after winning the amt) can it be possible to anyone to lead the life,(definitely not) if so today the people who were committing the suicides are may be well settled. So friends the above are just my opinions only if any one hurts please for give me.

The Momentum is going to be of great many varieties. As one will keep staring at the screen, the falling on the road pits will also increase. Let star also come out with mobile staring campaign! :>

Nobody will watch TV on mobiles. Already mobile is used for various applications and adding TV on mobile is not a good idea !!

Even though people get tech savvy people would love to watch news on television on a big screen rather than on mobile phones, so according to me TV on Mobile is a bad idea, let TV be TV and Mobile phone a Mobile phone for that matter....
