Startups Or Behemoths: Which Are You Going To Bet On?

Every now n then we see a startup company popping out somewhere in some part of the world. Startups bring a new hope of employment & economic development, but uncertainities always encircle them.

On the other hand there are gaint companies that have atremendous growth potential& a guarenteed ROI.

Thus, here the qustion arises :- On whom you will bet your money??/

Definitely I'll go for startups. Though half of the startups go out of business within five years; but overall they are still the ones that lead the charge in employment creation. It is always better to analyze properly a startup & invest as per your convenience.

Agreed that risk is there but higher the risk better the profits are. So, to start up one invest pretty small amount just to play safe.

Leena agreed that startups have good scope for growing but they have equal chances of failing. When it comes to investments people try to play safe rather than taking risk. There are exceptions where people actually go for funding a startup. But generally people like to invest in giant companies where the ROI is high. So, I'll go for big companies.

No doubt startups,,, "Every behemoth was once a start up."

Behemoths are predictable in their services,, startups may be risky but they would surely have something better to offer to stay in the market.

As a small investor I will go with "Startup" as risk is always there, then forget whether it is Startup or Behemoth.

START UPS MAY GROW VERY FAST TILL THE INITIAL PHASE , BUT IT'S LIKE BETTING YOU MAY LOOSE OR WIN THE BET. SO IF YOU HAVE A SMALL RISK TAKING CAPACITY YOU CAN NOT OPT TO ENTER THE START UPS.

Well, Its like your brain and your heart. Heart goes out for startups but brain says Behemoth. Though I heard the word first time. Bet on Behemoth unless you own the very Startup in question. What say?
