It has proved itself in various cases and even now it is doing that inspite of such a meltdown India is the least affected country.

And correct me if I am wrong the whole thing was done becuase of the bills that were circulated in the market and no notification was there as to who was purchasing or selling the bills and in the end who was the beneficiary of these bills and i suppose everything was monetored by the banks only.

If the banking system is so strong why is that there are scams after every five years. The well known example is of Harshad Mehta scandal.
