Success In Project Management

Almost all the construction project in housing sectors are great success leaving the last years ambitious plan of a few big players like Vatika and Dlf  and others. The reasons may be many but the most important were the finanacing giants were uncertain about their future financial liqidity or the various inputs in the form of commitments in respect of development of water supply, electricity and transporations. Thes are a few that could be listed openly.

The working capital as anticipated may not be forth coming in the form of  booking ammonts as many projects were far from the cities and the recession all over the world hampered the foreign commitments in all forms.

The cost of construction and the selling price as compared to the quality of construction was an another factor. The opportunity cost analysis perhaps was also not in the favour of continuing many projects though considerable commitments had already been made and that to  the point of no return.

A very important factor, the lack of intrest in earning INTREST MONEY on such investment keep these project alive though that may take ten years or more ffor completion to the stage of yielding financial results.

The success lies in the basic factor and that is not good planning, management but enough finances which can take care of all the inefficient inputs.
