Summer is in and so are summer camps all promoting child development , perosnality developments and various tarining sessions

Are these a waste of money, are we making our children such that once the vacation set is they look for going out form house, family

This is just such a waste of money we learned all these things for free when we were kids, we just went to our villages and spent time with our family going for vacations on different gegraphical locations...and when parents see a kid is talented in something one should nurture them at the early stage and not like send them to all these camps where the kid will be confused and will be forced to do things which they have no interest at all, so summer camps are a waste, actually parents themselves can teach their kids new things and spend some quality time which they get during summer vacations which help understanding your child much better. So than sending them away for summer camps spend quality time with your children for which your child will be craving for in the first place.......

I believ they are for bettermnet fo children, the child here can go and know his / her potentila, do activities of his/her liking and also enjoy vacation rather than sit at home and watch TV, paly vidoe games and chit chat

There are lot programmes viz

1) dance classes

2) Painting

3) Mountaneering

4) Hiking

etc

we may turn around the topic and rather we must say all that summer vacations should be made and designed in such a way that their is less investment of money and more utilization of sources skills,time,waste and children should learn to save nature and try to do some creative and enjoyable which may come to use of some poor ones.

i believe the days are changed now children do learn in some or the other ways.By joining these camps they learn those things what we learned after spending many years of our life like working in a team or coordination with others and and can keep these things in their mind forever.

yeah its absolutly right that summer camp give learning oppurtinity to a child but the main thing parents had to keep in their mind that dont try to presurize your child to attend the activity which is you think good. let your child to decide what he or she wants to do in his sumner camp than only overall development of child could take place annd better output to be shown by child while performing.

Summer camps always give some oppurtunity to the children to have new things to be learnt and spend the whole time with new friends and new topics that are taught in the summer camps

Summer Camps always give an opportunity to a children to enhance skills in a very small age. I personally don't believe that summer camps are waste of money.By this way,children can learn so many things which they cannot do in their day to day life as in todays life nobody have enough time to some extra curricular activities. I support summer camps as they develop the children in terms of physically,mentally and emotionally.

Nikhil interesting debate, and of course it is a development program for children. We should not waste those summer vacations by letting them watch TV or play video games which will not teach them anything. There are many interesting summer camps where they can really enjoy their vacation as well as learn like swimming, yoga, roller skating, etc. 

So summer camps are helping for the development of children.....
