Well, obviously no... it is not acceptable at this time in India. But looking at history if you see there were many things 20 yrs ago that was called vulgar and unacceptable. If you take examples of bollywood films, soap operas, reality shows , the freedom they got today in the name of earning money. They do everything, they talk about sex, kiss each other openly, talk vulgar languages in a bindass way , girls in semi-nude clothes flaunt their bodies, talking about their number of relationships ...etc. All these things were totally unacceptable in India 20 yrs ago. But today they are part and parcel of the society. Society has accepted it, as it is now money that has come into account. So obviously as people move on more and more in business, and race of earning money i don't thing any such vices even swapping can ever be stopped!

HOW CAN SWAPPING BE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE ? What goes behind " CLOSED BEDROOM DOORS" can be at the most 'Personal' & not a 'Social' norm. Next someone will come up & say "Prostitution should be Socially Acceptable"... We all know its the World's Oldest Profession... BUT is it Socially accepted ? NO. Why dont we end this debate here itself ?

As Mr. Naushad said it would be better if we stop this debate and remove this thread. ( Dont be angry on me its my personnal opinion). In no way it is an acceptable method for a country like india and a topic of discussion. And those who are supporting this will really mean it?

IT CAN BE PERSONALLY CORRECT... NOT SOCIALLY ! In India where MARRAIGE IS AN INSTITUTION... How Can Swapping be Socially Correct ? This is a practice or a Habit which prevails as a MODERN TREND in certian High Society Groups, where Key Swapping is a weekend ritual... What they want to prove is not important, maybe they just want to enjoy. THEY MAY ENJOY... BUT THIS CAN NEVER BE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE in INDIAN SOCIETY, where the Family module exists & where virtues are highly regarded. This TOPIC according to me... SHOULD NOT BE DISCUSSED ALSO, Lets spend precious time on some Important Issues...

Sinha, good debate ...... The main reason why people in metro suffer is because of their swapping. They brought new technology and culture for their convince and that has become a social issue now. Which we call it as global warming where everyone is suffering. So people should try to change their habits which causes social issue. :)
