Yes ... we trust Tatas .. we love them ... we rely their business professionalism and Business Ethics ( some may not know what is Ethics .. !! ). We equally like 2try what ever is new and latest. We may not move with our cable connected TV or Laptop. May be Photon TV may get a good response for its mobility factor. Let us watch the developments.

one thing is for sure ,the push for higher internet speeds and better user experience is going to go up.Tata photon plus promises 3.1 mbps which is enough for real time tv streaming (no need to mention HD content ) .This will be an added feather on the side of Tata which faces tough competition from reliance netconnect+ which offers the same service. The key thing here would be the service quality these providers provide. The good thing resulting out of this i see is more innovation at the service level ,better services at cheaper prices .Now who wouldn't want that ?

ibm ceo thought 10 PCs would be enough for world, at the launch of telephone, people thought who would like to talk to someone he can't see. When Mobiles were launched in india, everybody was skeptical of its market existence here. similarly Facebook, data cards and now TV on Data card. my 2 cents ... there are enough people in India as well, who would be keen to use service like this. and you can expect many more providers coming in competition to same.

however, it ,ll take time to hold ground and deepen it,s roots, because a common home customer ,ll not know much about it, however ,ll hit the people a big time.

Well, I agree with Smitha Dalvi & Ramanatha. It’s good that always TATA comes with new things & technology with lot of interest and of course it will also run in the market. He was one among the top market holders. But in this scenario I don’t think so it will work out, coz there are lot of disadvantages such as already we are having TV Tuner for Desktop/Laptop, buffering problem, and it doesn’t support the bandwidth what it require to run TV….This are personal experience of USB Internet service.

I think it will be difficult for tata tele to get enough subscribers for this as Indian broadband and wireless speeds are really low and to watch something live on internet, the streaming of the video will take a lot of time and buffering all adds more woes here, though the plan looks ok but then one can get only 15gb of download that too at a cost of 1500 plan, so this will be more useful people who are on the go, but for people who want this photon tv through their internet is a disadvantage.
