Well I am wondering who is going to stop IPL. It has definitely become a global attraction. Apart from the money business as being lamented on, why don't it be seen also as a tourist attraction? It is obvious that a fraction of the population( the ones with bitterness in their minds and just out to cause confusion) will try anything like bomb blast or other for the purposes of obstruction. Sad that they had to do that outside of a cricket stadium so as to cause fear in the minds of the cricketers especially the foreign players. The last IPL was played in South Africa, don't you people remember the reason why?

Considering the wide-spread recognition that IPL has got, it really is a global event now. Without question it has to go on. I do agree that, in the process, legally or most of the times illegally, rich are becoming richer. But it really is a pride of India now, maybe tarnished a bit with the recent off-field events. It provides such huge entertainment for everyone involved and also such a great stage for all the young cricketers to make it big. I strongly feel that we shouldn't bow to the terror by stopping IPL or any other sports event for that matter. Its a perfect response to the people causing terror stating we would fight all the way.

Yes it should go on, if the tournament had cancelled the terrorists would have gained a upper hand, and also and it would have given even more so reasons to attack, if the government had decided to give the necessary security for the tournament, it would have given the strong message towards the terrorists that India is not perturbed by such attacks, and we can counter attack. But now the IPL being shifted to another country is a bad example by the government where it is not able to provide adequate security due the Polls. They should not mix politics with sports at all.

Yes the show must go on..its not only money but other issues are also at stake..Like this is one of the prestious event being hosted by India at international level. If we donot host...wrong signals go to world...that India is not safe..India can not organise big tournaments safely..After 3/3 at lahore it becomes more challenging for India to show the world...yes we can do it and we will do much better that previous...There is no danger India unlike in Pakistan where actually no rule is prevailing...So we must hold the show.

yes the IPL should go ahead as there is more than 2000 crores that is at stake this time around and this IPL is supposed to be much bigger than the previous edition and there should be no worry about the security as there will be more private security this time as the IPL dates which is clashing with the poll dates, So there will be more security in place this time around after the incident that happened in Mumbai and lahore with srilankan cricket team. so security will be beefed up and IPL should go on as per schedule.

one should understand the current situation of economy before dreaming of enjoyment.will common man is benefited from IPL? certainly NO, why such a large amt of money has to be spent for simple few hours of entertainment? countrymen has to think there are other important priorities for them than that of IPL.this kind of cricket is nothing else than horse racing and great cricketers are simply branded as horses!!.let's wish that our beautiful looking cine stars glamour is not ousted in cricket fields!!

Definitely it has put a question mark on the participation of overseas players in the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starting next month. The attack on the Sri Lankan team will be the main talking point among overseas players & now they have to think about, more so than they did before.....

It is better to Postpone the IPL matches in the interest of cricket. In the wake of Lahore attack .., I believe , the players from abroad or even our players are feeling absolute shaky playing in this subcontinent .. So the first & foremost priority will be to provide adequate security support .. & during election period that is most unlikely. The terrorists had a clear and free run at the Liberty Chowk roundabout in Lahore, it is better to take adequate measures first. What do you say ???
