I firmly disagree here. It may be the case for few but there is a mass who works for oneself. They earn because they want to make their family prosper.

The greed and crave for money sees nothing in the way, come what may, people dumbfounded , recklessly running amuck, unaware, where heading .Is this all for a reasonable living ? Crazy ! Unaware and blindfolded these poor money  mongrers gonna  fall flat , next  to  a beggar  body consigned to  flames  in aburial

Now a days earning money is the main motive of all human beings! For that purpose all the Ethics are kept aside. Nobody cares of relations and humanity. I think all of us are not human beings, we are just money earning Machines. Although we all know it very well, we don't have another option or solution over it because of the selfish nature! Thanks Taniya for referal. Look everybody has his own priorities whether they spell it out or not. Accordingly is the behaviour. You can't tell about your own brother or sister's true behaviour. So this might be true for some but by and large people are more competitive. Yes they are working for themselves but the thinking which is working behind this behaviour is to keep secret their own USP. Look their is a war out their and to survive you have to do something different and that too with perfection. Here war doesn't mean the real one.

Happiness & Human value never gets eroded because of profession. If a professional does not distinguish between a Life &  a Job, probably, one succumb to this kind of problem.

Plan your job systematically at the workplace .At the same time, also spare the valuable living with the family.

Profession never teach you to sacrifice your life.It is only to enrich you & enlighten the society.
