How could we say that we are developed even if we can not fulfill the basic needs such as food, health, electricity, water, education and home of our society.  There is hunger and poverty widely spread in India.

Yes we have developed sufficiently what we have to. And this is time to make ourselves stable because the development has resulted in shortage of resources. So we should stop concentrating on development and think how to survive for the next few years with the available resources.

I am satisfied, what is the use of developing more when we are not able to enjoy the growth ??

Frnz,.....whr is the development n why to run for devlopment?.....can't we go for near-to-perfect balance...wat we cal development, comes at the cost of many other things...u loose certain things(everytym something important too)...n gain the new ones ....if dat is development then i dont vote for that.....we need to go for THE BALANCE....That will lead to the perfect development.....

Development is satisfactory from last decade onwards. just think of situation where metro cities will have population of over 10 million, think of infrastructure required for safety of people and smoothness of work.

The development is satisfactory, cant go on patting the UPA government for bringing change in last tennure. We can proudly say that we have developed in certain field. India will take its own time to develop because it has lots of flaw in the system. China was considered as developing nation untill yesterday and now Chinas economy contributes 13% in the world economy. There is still a long way to go for India to develop.

Development is restricted to certain profitable areas.. We still have more areas to concentrate on. Development should continue till we can join everybody to the main stream.

HELLO SACHIN.

IN THE WHOLE WORLD IF YOU LOOK AT IT, OUR INDIA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY WITH VARIOUS NATURAL RESOURCES,PRECIOUS METALS,CASH CROPS,SURROUNDED BY SEA ON THREE SIDES ETC INCLUDING HUMAN RESOURCES.UNLIKE OTHER COUNTRIES HAVING HAVING VERY FEW OR ONE OR TWO RESOURCES.HAD THERE BEEN SOME ONE WITH A VISION,DETERMINED TO TAKE US TO THE TOP POSITION,WITHOUT CONFINING HIMSELF TO AMASSING WEALTH AND RETAINING POWER WE WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR AHEAD OF OTHERS.

yes there is scope for further development in the field of Sanitation, agriculture, water management, industrial development with minimum pollution and the biggest is social development. As said earlier we were a developing country and still developing may be at a slow but steady pace. there is scope for other developments like politics and other govt. departments but this is not the place to discuss that.

NO... THE DAY ANY PERSON, COMPANY OR COUNTRY SAYS " IT IS SATISFIED "... PROGRESS STOPS !

Take this as a basic rule of Life. If MAN was satisfied with just the Discovery of the WHEEL... we wld still be riding Bullock or Horse Carts !

The fact that a Human being is NEVER SATISFIED... IS THE REASON FOR GROWTH & SUCCESS !

I suggest better sentence formation please... The Question should be - IS INDIA'S GROWTH SATISFACTORY ?

Happy Debating Friends !

INDIA has a long way to go & so do the rest of the Countries in the World. Satisfaction is the Final Block to Success & Growth.

Real development is human development...we are still lacking behind in that. We have billionairs, we have multinationals, we have nukes, missiles, satellite launch vehicles on one side and our villages don't have proper sanitation arrangement on other hand. We are still not able to choose our talents by testing 100 crores. Only a handful of resourceful person get exposure and we select from them only for our public and other services.

How can one become satisfied with such development.

No, still it requires a lot. Till we overcome the poverty problem and so many other issues which are still important but unsolved we can't claim it confidently. Let us work for the country together and feel proud that we are well developed and satisfied with our progress.

No, before we confidently say we are a developed economy, we should have brought all population out of Below Poverty Line - in all senses than one.

India can b a superpower in no time. Our countrymen r really laborious n intelligent. But these politicians are sucking everything. If government announces distribution of cows to the poorest, the congressmen ask for the quota in that scheme to. In BJP era, Nitin Gadkari has planned this worli sea link in Bombay for some 400 cr. But the congress goverments delayed it for years and on the basis of delay, the finally revised budget for sealink was some 1600 cr. commenwealth games budget was 1800 cr. initially. Now it is touching 30,000cr. because of delay. In fact the politicians and concerned officer must be penalised for such delays

economist says man power is the greatest resource.. so India is a treasure of resource.. but unfortunately the resource is not properly utilizing.. the IITians and IIMians are quitting to abroad without serving India.. to develop India just ask all these top quality brains to serve India atleast 5 years... and also to pass an amendment to support these peoples work.. dam sure India will develop as earliest
