In the present day of limited resources we need to upgrade our education system from General to Object oriented. Reservation should be limited to age and fees. It should not be applicable to percentage. Get the student out of marks important world. Test them for real life situations and their application status.

Its not the education at fault. Its the approach and attitude towards education, that is haunting us! Just for the sake of acquiring degree on paper, we are educating ourselves. Let us consciously think how many of us, from the date of entering into college till the time of getting out, have worked to enhance our all-round personality. You have media, internet, Television, Mobile telephony and various other gadgets available to enhance oneself, if at all one attempts to! Think of those brilliant boys and girls who could not afford to the education you and I, by hook or crook, afford to. How many technicians, waiters, motor mechanics and paper boys, who we encounter, day in and day out, have aspiration to come up in life in whatever way possible, but they lack money power, what we don't lack. Its in us, not elsewhere! If you are expecting sporadic systemic change, this requires political will - vote bank politics in India would not like our majority of population educated! Whatever,therefore, available one should utilize them to our advantage in order to carve a niche for one oneself!

I sincerly agree with Mr.Vinay...Our education system has to be change for better outcomes......Still we are in the traditional process ...It needs to be change...it needs to be updated where any one can get he opportunity in any sector....diversity should not be there....also latest technology needs to be implement in Education sector from primary lavel....

Everything in education system has to change from ranking system to the method of teaching. Rat Race should be stopped at once. Nowadays all students are searching for shortcuts to learn a subject that too for scoring marks. other activities must be encouraged so that a student has his interests to spread more than what he usually gains from just being bookworm. Every institute must and should concentrate on every student who enroll in it. not on the core group itself.

The change in education system is just not about changing courses or subjects etc. and it is not only for companies requirement. It is about the whole process. The suicide attempts made by students, the fear in hearts before and after exams shouldn't be there. Why students bunk classes, not just they are small kids and they wish to go outside they felt bore of daily routine things. Today students need things more practical. Today students are more intelligent, open, understanding and with thousands of questions & curiosity. And they need a proper answer for that. In our country today teaching is not a profession it has turned out a big business. AAj jo kuch nahin kar paata ek coaching institute khol kar teacher ban jaata hai. Ppl should no the right way of teaching. If companies have diff. requirements so each student have diff. requirement. A different way of thinking. We as elders, parents, teachers and education system need to understand this. We need to change this and it wil take time but wil come up with positive and productive results.

I agree with you Vinay, our education system is still following the traditional process of learning and is hardly updated with the latest updates in the educational sector. The schooled education system is mainly based on "mugging up" methodology and least focused on practical knowledge. Thus the students get more theoretical knowledge and less practical ones because of which they face a lot of problems in the later stages of their career. I believe this process should be changed and more focus on practicals based education should be made to make them competitive with the world...

Now a days the companies are searching for the engineers who will reach their requirements a.d quality in them.But with the present education system, in which the traditional methodologies are followed and olden subjects,means out dated topics the students are not capable of reaching the requirements of companies. So the education system has to change.
