For a country like India, we have abundant energy all around the year and we should harness it. When compared to Nuclear energy this is safe and also cost effective.

I agree, Sridhar. Instead of trying to generate power from every other possible material available and spending money over that, it will be of good to use which exists already - The Solar Power.

At Rs. 20cr/MW there is very little to choose between them; however the long term availability of input variable will be the decisive factor in working towards energy security of our country. Sunlight is a "Zero cost" input material which makes Solar Power a much more self sufficient route to take.
