Media tends to influence and it’s obvious, there are positive as well as negative influences of mass media. However, it also depends upon the way audiences perceive things. Media is the FOURTH ESTATE of our constitution.  Mass media, in the modern world, is playing a major role in forming PUBLIC OPINION. It is the pet of common people. NETAS never listen to common-man. Earlier, the common-man didn't had a voice or a platform to express his views. Also, media were not concentrating on common-man. But, recently, there are multiple entry of various media house into the fray. As such,  there is stiff COMPETITION among them to vie for VIEWERSHIP. To achieve this end they have no other go but depend upon the common people. To attract them they are coming with many strategies. One among them is to bring forth the common issues related to common-man day-to-day problems. It is a GOD SEND OPPORTUNITY for the common-man to take advantage of this situation and get the maximum mileage.  AND ITS HAPPENING!

Well, Certain types of media have a loyal fan following. This would mean that an advertiser, publication or news channel would have a ready audience.We also have the latest news and information at the click of the mouse! The Internet is such a medium that it can give many options for the kind of information required.

yes isn nw times media is manuplated through politicians and in every news channels they are showing always nagative impact of ell thing this may creates the wrong impact in to public minds they are compatibily showing the 1/10 news ass it means on 10 bad news they are showing 1 good news and always news like murder, explosion, theft, etc. this will also make the wrong thinking of peoples toward there country and locality.

Media imperialism is a theory stating that smaller countries are losing their identity due to the force-feeding of media from larger nations. It can be equated to small community shops closing down due to large superstores moving in, taking over and having a monopoly.

I could say the information reported may not be authentic from every angle. Hence, there may be a misinterpretation of a situation and also news can be manipulated to influence the minds of the audiences. For example:- a particular political party may manipulate reports in their favor, which would indicate the political control in the media....
