Recruiting opportunities in Executive MBA programs are typically quite limited, as most of the Executive MBA students are sponsored by their companies and, therefore, cannot actively recruit with new potential employers. Additionally, Executive MBA programs are typically quite separate from the general MBA programs at business schools, so you will not have much interaction with the MBA class.
Which program you choose, MBA or Executive MBA, is your choice.

I too prefer Executive MBA because people who pursue executive MBA are predecided what they want to do in career path. Having a industry exposure is must while pursuying MBA, while gives a good linkage to the concepts we learn with the industry.

Subhash what i feel is part time MBA would not provide noticeable benefits or boost to a career in the short term. Its real value will become obvious in the long term - because such a course changes the perspective of the individual to a completely holistic business-oriented one from a individual-contributor employee one. It makes one a better professional able to appreciate the context of the organization and the environment (economy etc) much better and hence be a better manager. Such a knowledge if acquired definitely will make a better performer and hence lead to a faster career growth, what do you say?

Ankit tat is true, When your company is willing to sponsor you for the Executive MBA, and if you and your employer are willing to make the time commitment in terms of (typically) every other Friday plus every other weekend, six weeks in the summer, etc., then the Executive MBA may be a great option for you. If you are seeking the MBA in order to change jobs, though, obviously the Executive MBA is probably the wrong call for you, as most employers require a commitment of a certain number of years of service post-Executive MBA before the company will pay for the Executive MBA.

An MBA should not be taken as just another degree rather it is a process which helps you to deduce solutions to problems that you have encountered in your service and until you face a problem you won't be able to value the significance of the solution. So getting a simple MBA after your graduation is like learning the solution without knowing the problem itself which would not be that productive. Executive MBA serves this end very well.

Executive MBA is best solution for the students , we in India still looking for long term program as against in UK and other countries try to shorten the time of education , Executive MBA is focused on Practical aspect of subject, that is why students are easily understanding  subject , Most important part of this is you get more knowledge than any other MBA in short time. In executive MBA  teaching method is based on practical aspect which give more value for the subject your learning, I think we should start taking of executive MBA and encourage the people to do it. We are not understanding the concept of MBA , we always think that it is only for experienced people that is not true Change the path of education is required

I feel Executive MBA cater to a different segment altogether. Executive MBA Programs are designed to meet the needs of upper level managers. Candidates are often evaluated based on what they will bring to the program. Eligibility criteria of at least three-five years of prior work experience ensures that candidates are acquainted to the corporate world and the focus can now be on enriching and enhancing that experience. Thus, what sets the Executive MBA apart from the regular MBA is the experience level and insights that the students bring with them.
