With accelerated growth in the industry there has been tremendous growth in job opportunities. It is a fact that some of this has resulted in a larger numbers of fast track recruitments. Such fast track recruitments may be at the cost of transformational HR functions.

I agree with you. Companies started looking for candidates who will be with the company until some project gets over. Then they don't care even if they quit. They recruit another person for the next project. This should change.... this increases the cost to the company .... :)

Agreed.

Particularly the HR Dept wants to take contractual employees and then again reshuffle them the moment their contract is over.

Benefits:Cost cutting,internal news not goingout. etc

I don't want any discrepencies,everything should be clear & transparent.

I personally feel that it would be at the cost of transformational functions because even the management is probably looking at short instead of long term associations.

I have not seen anything wrong in this strategy. People are being recruited for specific projects. They are prepared to recruit someone again for another project, since the nobody is caring for long term associations these days. Either side have their own advantages.
