Facebook is quickly infringing on Google’s turf the social networking site is rolling out its own email service, testing a tool that sets Facebook as a default homepage, and now a new report says Facebook’s web traffic passed Google’s.  But while this battle plays out, the co-founder of Twitter Inc. said he wishes Facebook and Google would just hook up to create a service that is unbelievably useful to users around the world. So, do you also think that Facebook and Google just hook up?? Share your thoughts on this....

While we can’t read too much into such an ambiguous comment on its own, it’s curious considering that Facebook, Google and Twitter are caught in a sort of love-hate triangle. Twitter has a search relationship with Google, and it also cooperates with Facebook - even if it’s frustrated with that informal relationship. But yeah than fighting it out like this....they can join hands and provide a service which is really useful to users around the world....

First of all it would not be a good part to insist or suggest a private firm to hook up with the competitor. Both of them might have their own terms and conditions, if they are mutually agreed then fine enough, but if there is disagreement then they may not tie up. But good thing for users and customers is that both of them have their own features like google for accurate search engine and facebook as a social networking platform, so lets never try to compare the two. After all there is never any constraint to utilize their features irrespective of agreement or disagreement.

Hey no....with both as individual companies, we are seeing so much interms of development and research from both of these companies where both are striving to give a service which is useful for us all, Google is great interms of search and Facebook interms of social networking, but both are entering each others turf by developing new strategies, and this is good, at the end of the day its the consumer who is benefitted..
