Typewriter instead of keyboard : you like?

A designer in the US has created what he claims is a computer which allows one to use a typewriter instead of a keyboard.

The USB Typewriter conversion kit plugs into the USB port on a laptop, monitor or iPad via a sensor board..

It involves no messy wiring, and does not change the outward appearance of the typewriter (except for the usb adapter itself, which is mounted in the rear of the machine)

So what do you think it will have takers? Will you choose a typewriter over the keyboard of think of using your typewriter instead of keyboard?

It's too uncomfortable.It's very foolish to go back and try Type Writer.In this computer era everything is computerized even daily shop keepers are using computers to manage their inventory.Don't you think going back to Type-writer is bit uncomfortable

In a sense, I feel it is going to help us. Normally while using the PCs, laptops etc., you tend to get into various sites both useful & not useful too. This system will stick to only doing what is intended to.

Apart from joint pains and noise, as mentioned below, it will look clumsy, occupy a USB socket uselessly and take extra space.

Sooner or later you realize pressing and pressing hard( as in case of type writer) would end up with joint pains.

Keyboard is easy to use and typewriter probably makes a lot of noise.. This can make people nostalgic but , actually using it is out of question.

Yes sir the product is really good but it is designed for different purpose. It is mostly used for military purpose.
