It should not have any effect on the customers inclination towards ULIPS as the norm applies to only particular ULIPS i.e. of pension n annuity plans...a return of 4.5% is far less compared to other risk free instruments.....and also frankly speaking ULIPS doesnt attract me at all for investment....one can go for term insurance and simple equity investment tht will give more return than ULIPS...and also no restriction of lock in period....
