It is said that late on set of summer and early arrival of monsoon in most of the parts has led to lower sale of ACs and refrigerators. The only hope left now is TVs and other home appliances. But can a gap once produced be filled this way. Does lower sale of one product mean other product will fill in for it?

TV sale might rise but still I do not see a way that it will fill in for the lower sales of other products. This is just a kind of self assurance whichi can be given to feel better.

As per ur Opinion AC and Refrigerators sales will be low in this year. But TV and other Home Appliances ll not compensate them. Because, AC & Fridges are saesonly requirement but TV is not like that. It ll not vary as per saesonal effeect.

People buy TV first then they buy ACs, so those who are not buying ACs, already have TVs

Purvi I agree with you. This may be a result of inflation, if I may say so. So long crude price do not stabilize the market will go like this only. I am of the strong opinion that price of crude is one of the reasons for destabilizing the economy of many countries like Greece, Portugal and Ireland and many more to follow.

This will definitely have an effect on sales of electronic products in India.

Not at all, it can not give effect because TV are such thing that sales thoroughly the year sales as compared to AC especially, Because many advanced things are coming in TV with economy rate as well as conceptually. And refrigerator is also going good as well as Annual product.Refrigerator, TV, other home appliances are doing very good sale during the festival time as compared to AC. So it can not give effect on other product but just try to make effective branding strategy.... Thanks Ms.Purvi madam for referal

A big No, bcoz this's jus like making one naxal group...it cant be called d act of self defence...today they make this force against corruption/bad..tommorrow they themselves will start doing corruption...like ulfa, maowadis,IM etc..so plz dont encourage dis type of practice...and also wht i c ,today people have dharna as fashion...there shud be some other way to show ur agaitations.,like in ramdev case..why dont he start doing yoga for round d clock instead of creating drama nautanki...,he's nt having a single quality of baba..ye sab dhongi hain...and ye kaun sa imandari ke liye lad rahe hain!...i have a doubt that he's being used as puppet by some1 else..

How will Tv's fill that role. Top tv selling season, the world cup is over. One reason for slow sale of AC's and refrigerators might be power consumption...I think companies need to work on that area. Also many markets are saturated, we in India don't replace our appliances every 2 years as is done in developed nations.

I support your views, Purvi, as everybody has it's own planning & timing to buy electronic appliances as per their need.

Thanks for referral.

I support Purvi.but lack of focus affects the sales.Early monsoon has nothing to do with increase in sales of other products.

Sale of a product depends on purpose and demand. Sales of AC  and refrigerators dropped due to early arrival of cold weather. The sales of other home appliances cannot compensate the gap as purpose as well as demand for use is completely different. For example TV is now common gadget and people will buy them as usual whether they have AC or not. But it wll never happen that one family as they did not purchase an AC this year will purchase two TV sets.
