Upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7

As Microsoft has come up with a new OS which seems better than its previous one, Windows Vista. Vista which did not come up to the expectation of the users will be replaced by Windows 7 in the coming months. But what about the users who bought laptops with preloaded Vista which is terrible in its performance?

Ofcourse...is there an option otherwise? Vista sucks! I believe we all would agree with the varied performance which is nowhere consistent - you need a mother of a laptop/destop to be able to running Vista. Windows 7 would run consistently even on machines with lower specs...

I definitly thinks that Microsoft should provide Vista users a free upgrade to Windows 7. I have bought a laptop last year with preloaded Vista in it. Its really a horrible experience for me with that machine. It takes a lot of time to get started and even to get shutdown and makes the system too slow. We have wasted a lot of money on Vista which was a failure OS, so Microsoft should gives a value for our money with a free upgrade.
