I have been reading for quite some time that USA speaks something when they talk to India, and other way when they talk to China, both in Public, and then try to calm dowm both the countries in private (not sure but thoughful guess). everyone is aware that India and China are two Big Powers in the world presently and one of them could be super power in the near future, Are USA afraid that if India and China get together and work for growth, the END OF AMERICAN REIGN could be much much nearer?? Is America trying to keep India and China separate?

Hi,

US for sure, does not want to  taint its relationship with either India or China. This is perfectly understandable since these two countries are at the peak of socio-economic and industrial growth. Any country would want to be friends with both these powerful nations.

As far as conflicting statements are concerned, US has made some political statements which can be interpreted in many ways. They actually can not openly oppose any of us. Leave alone India and china, US does not say anything against Pakistan which is clearly not doing any good to the international society. In current international scenario, it is very tough for any nation to stand against a particular country.

I still don't think that American dream is anywhere near its complete end. There is still a huge difference between developing countries like ours and US. To get to the same level even when US is continuously declining, I think will take a long time of the order of 30 years or so.

USA, is Omnipresent, good or bad varies only in degrees.

In trade alone:

With China, USA is the largest importer of Chinese goods, with India they are biggest importers of skilled labour.

Now from the Indian context, it’s a pity coz, the skilled labour gets trained in India and contributes in USA.

For China, materials are manufactured in China, but the sale volume comes from USA.

And we still say We are the “Soft Power” going to be “Super Power”....

Politics is another game, where USA adopts the policy of “Say More And Talk Less.” This is bang opposite to India.

Tnx for ref Mr.Aras.

Hi Bhavna,

Thanks for the inputs. I agree with you on most points. But as far as Pakistan is concerned, acc to me, its completely because of Afganistan. Without Pakistan's help, I doubt they would be able to sustain there....and lots of US money is also stuck there in pakistan in terms of loans...

Divide and Rule is part of the politics...which was highlighted by Britishers best...in the last century...

Finally america, the west is nothing but formation of few britishers....

China itself has done...the same to India & Pakistan...divide and Rule...

I suspect...that more than americans....china is helping pakistan...How come a country like pakistan, which has been on verge of destruction....play such long inning...unless support is being provided by china...or in other words..china is helping them.(USA has to help Pakistan for sake of stability in Afghanistan).

America knows...that china is not threat to them but...to the world itself...With Europe not being properly united...and russia also not so strong....American have to support India...to counter the threat of china...

Americans...are getting their own chill pill from none other than..china...
