There has been a regular  outcry against terrorism in the last 15 or 20 years - It is has been magnified by the recent Delhi High Court bomb blast-More disturbing is the fact that high security areas such as Courts/ Embassies too have been found to be vulnerable and taret for possible terror attacks. There was a lengthy debate on the subject yet again and representative from the Congress party and BJP had participated-  It is a fact that additional policing/provision of high tech gadgets etc will not necessarily curb terrorism - A case in point is the U.S where technology is omni present in all most every aspect of life yet they couldn't prevent the 9/11 tragedy!!!!

So, the point is, unless, the world and leaders are serious about preventing such regular happenings across the globe, can one really get control over terrorism - the main challenges ahead though are, poverty, unemployment, feeling of insecurity and added to this is the misguided religious fanatism.

The base for all terrorism, I believe, is communal violence - when this cannot be caged or prevented, how can one expect to prevent terrorism per say-Today, ammunition/bombs and such other things are available freely in the market - Nothing has been thought of it so far by any one leader from any part of the world to prevent such transactions or prevent it from reaching the wrong hands because huge money is involved in this illegal business-I say 'illegal' because I'm a believer of the theory that arms dealings should never be permitted to be handled by private individual agents.

So, the question is - who is sponsoring these individuals?? - It is the governments and the powers that be, bypassing all concern for citizen and the country's security itself - the so called 'Super Powers' have been indulging in this filthy game for too long in the name of 'Military Aid'.

Arms agents are privy to terrorists across the globe, instigating them to buy and use in the name jihads/holy wars and what not.

As is the saying,'what we sow, we reap' - the nations which are investing heavily in developing new ammunitions are finding themselves victim of terrorist attacks - Instead of investing precious money for the alleaviation of poverty, and other very crucial survival requirements for the human beings, the money invested in destructive weapons are only finding destructive use.

It is time, the world leaders are really serious about preventing terrorism by cutting across individual ideologies and vested interests and putting their hearts and minds to work out ways in preventing such grissly deeds by a few fanatics.
