HMM he was nt having any prob or Army information & status till the time he wants to correct his DOB when the GOI has rejected his application he has thousand of problems it shows what he is? Here i m nt praisining Indian govt bt just givining an attention that he shld take this step atleast 4 years bacj rather than this time when he is going to retire.....................

because many a times those who got selected left army with no reasons.And many who are actually willing and able didn't find the chance

dear kumkum & tejaswini, i write on this side of the debate so that you don't miss my remarks. firstly - may i request you kumkum to refrain from addressing debates with particular refernce to an individual. in case you want to ask an individual's opinion, it would be better to send a personal message instead of putting it on the board. secondly - despite my best efforts, i have not been able to figure out what exactly is being debated here - and hence i am in no position to comment. thirdly - tejaswini, i don't think that the author had the DOB conroversy in mind - and since this is a very complex issue of which i guess we all know very little about, it may be prudent to avoid loose talk - as responsible professionals on this coveted board we must realize that we are talking about the "chief of the army staff" of the "indian army" here. i am not suggesting clamping down on our rights to our opinions & speach - all i'm requesting is for some restraint in areas about which we know little. i hope i have not overstepped. kindly take this in the spirit in which it is written - i'll defend your right to express - debate on - this board is your's . my respects & regards
