Your employment is a phase in your life ; what is unique to you is your work , and your integrity. When you are a doctor working in a hospital , your loyalty to your profession is greater than your loyalty to your employer. It should be the same with all professions ; as a cricketer for example , your loyalty to the game , your country and your fans is more important than your loyalty to the BCCI !

Thanks for invite Alex, How would you be able to course correct for the employer if forever agreeing. Possibilities of error are part of business yet it it is with focus on process that can help correct and help the employer even whence not in agreement. In any case trust in self is much more important.

Trust is the most important factor in very walk of life, if we do not trust ourself we are bound to be a failure. An employer trust his employee to do the job for him, the employee trust the employer to pay him for the job, so are the other activities of life. Trust the vital thing in one's life.

Are you confident and honest for your self ? Are you capable of the job ? Can you do the job ? All these question arise if you trust your employer but not in youreself and jon. Mind it, if your really want to grow and talented you must have to trust and honest to the job. If you can work hard and have skills oriented why care need to trust the boss other then the job. Its not at all necessary to polish the boss if you can do the job.

Trust in yourself is absolutely correct. Just fulfill ur duties as a employee thats all. If our employer is supports us we get double promotion and more increments, if not we cannt any thing just only salary or we shift to other emplyor. But our work is more important than our employer

If you will have trust in your Employer I am sure there will be trust in your employment also. Its must for a company and organization to have trust in the employees and vise versa.

I believe in Emplyment rather than Employer. Best example (((Funny))) is Vodafone India's TV Promo where companion was highly faithfull dog to owner (Employer)and kicked-out even his faithfullness was excellent towards employer 24X7. And, Employer brought 5-7 Aliens (Outsiders) for job and not even one like previous one dog....!!! Thus, never trust Employer...Trust your slef and your job, skills...!!

Trust in our work is implicit. Otherwise, we are doing work without value. Self belief is important. However, trust in the employer and a good employer-employee relationship is of paramount importance for the organization to grow and expand in the future. An organization is a social structure where members work and interact with each other. The members are classified as employer / employee / contract, etc. for administrative purposes only. If mutual trust is not there, no significant work can be accomplished.....

employer is the one who gives you the job. without employer there is no employee(job). trust has to be for the employer. but there has to be a fine balance between doing the job the way the employer wants it and the way the job has to be done. there is a lot of difference and i realised it when i started doing the work the way it has to be done around 6 months before my retirement by superannuation. it is more fun

I support Alex on the subject. The employer is ultimate and one should have complete faith on the employer. The employer is ultimately in business to make profit. In order to get the best out of each employee they will be made as per the requirment of the employer and under the circunstances the employee will learn all the tricks of the trade in order to give maximum output.

EMPLOYER OF COURSE... and His Track Record ! If the Employer & His Track Record is Good... There is no cause for worry. Trust needs to be placed upon the Employer, coz He is the Captain of the Ship & the Father of the Unit. FAITH has stopped Many a Ship from Sinking ! First is Faith in Employer & then Faith on you Own self. You have to give back more than you recieve from your Employer... both in Terms of Work & in Terms of Loyalty. Happy Debating Friends !
