Were men actually afraid of women's power??

When we talk about mythology we come across various forms of "Women".. Shakti, Saraswati, Laxmi.. and a lot more than just this.. Then coming to reality we had great revolutionary women like Gargi, Mythri, laxmibai and many more . They are all wonder women and symbolize power.. Then.. something terrible happened and things changed.. The power is lost somewhere or has become dull..Were the men afraid of the power of women and so they supressed her?

If I say this many of you won't like me for that.. But this seems to be closest to the reality.. But ofcourse this is something which happened in past and now the men are again ready to give women the place she deserve and I sincerely thank all those men for this. :)

no,women is a suprem power she is blessed by god of reproducting the generation.which man cannot without her help,except this she bring up the child with all necessary education. But can you answer why women are afriad oe women generally lie saas bahu relation is well known example. if a women is not aginst women men can never dare to be aginst women think seriously over it.

Men definitely surpassed women but the reason per se was/is other than threat of women power.
