In Indian context education is for getting a job. Particularly, we the Indians never consider the politics as a profession. Young blood in most of the cases are not self-centric. The political scenario prevailing in India, it is very difficult to survive in politics without money and muscle power or atleast one should have a sound political family back ground. Politics is being ruled by heridotory.

politicians cant survive without corruption.a student would be always(almost) stick to their ethics, values and morals.student cant think about corruption while working for the society. we cant cheat ourself while fighting for country. But corruption is the minimum criteria a person should know before entering into politics, which a student can not do..

what matters the most in today's world is "I" rather than "US". I strongly believe that students have become least bothered about society, responsibility and social structure. They are neglecting the fact they are in the political scenario which they need to change and bring some difference instead on lamenting on the problems. Facts are always hard to digest. but a thoughtful and proactive step is needed to be taken. This is our country, we have the responsibility to design our destiny.Instead of concentrating on what others has done, thinking what i did is very much important. As a coin has two sides society also has two faces, and being a responsible citizen it is our responsibility to change the political system which is on wrong track. so let us concern about our country, about our society, our family and us. start stepping forward to witness the change.

I agree to the fact that the students do not enter into the politics due to many reasons. They don’t want to mess with their careers, some think that politics is not their cup of tea, some have bad notions about politics due to (almost omnipresence of) corruption in the system, resistance from existing politicians, mandate of unethical modus operandi for survival, and other reasons. One of the major reasons for an honest and sincere common man not participating in politics is the uncertainty of the proper support from the citizens and guaranteed threats from the mafias and hurdles from high-flying politicians. The fact is that everyone’s vision and mission is to ensure that their own interests are safe guarded by someone in politics instead of looking at the bigger picture. This makes them vulnerable and to be played with by the politicians for their selfish purposes. They see what the politicians show them, they hear and do what politicians want them to. Unless the public realizes their power and role in the system, nothing will change because the democracy is of the people, by the people, for the people and when the people are not willing to search and see the truth on their own, no one can cure the political system from the virus of malpractices and corruption. It is the dire need for the people to wake up, be educated about their role & responsibilities and change the face of political system and if it happens, then I think we can find highly educated students fraternity in the parliament and india shining.

Another issues what i feel personally for the reason why students are really not involving the politics are due to fear of there career. It is a known fact that how corruption has evolved and involved in politics, if some one wants to really join in the politics to do some service for the public he should have rowdy back ground, some cases should be on him, public should aware of him, he should financially sound, he has to be son or daughter of some politician who have a good fame in the party. The public also wont accept the persons who wants do some thing for the society, Jayaprakash narayan, he is an IAS and came into politics to do something but the final result is that only one seat got for his party, this is the way how public accepts a new person. And the politicians who are there for longtime in the game will not allow any new person to enter in to the game and they dont allow some good to happen which would be a benefit for the society. Chronicles, polices, govt. servants every one are like ball in the court of politics and the politicians play as they like. If some politician really wants to do something good for the people ,he will be kicked out of the politics. So, I would say it would be really great if a good number of students form as a group and enter politics with clear cut strategies( habituated with this word by studying from the last one year as part of my MBA...lolz) and plans then it would surely bring certain change in the history of politics and will bring some fruitful benefits for the citizens who are awaiting for a great change.....................JAI HIND
