Saturation at this stage means fall in demand and not necessarily that till even a small bit of land is available the construction will continue, look at Dubai for example, there is no demand and so many housing units coming online or being made available. What was being rented out at 2 million a year and half back is at 60000-70000, so why build more.
The saturation in construction is this point, why build if there is no demand
No ways it will take many years for the construction industry to get saturated. Presently the construction industry is seeing huge growth and many projects. In fact this is the age of construction, many projects all around the globe are been done. So today construction is on the top, means it is in its growth stage involving many new technologies......
I do not agree that saturation is impossible. Every inch you build has got a consumer, it has got a demand for it. The dynamics of demand & supply applies equally to construction industry as well. Agree with Atul.....why build when there is no need to build. It depends how we see saturation.....if it is slowdown in demand....it has to be location and sector specific........else i do not see it coming.
True. Construction Industry is to go a long way until the end of civilisation. The real estate business may temporarily saturate and again bounce back. In order to cope up with the apprehension of saturation, new innovative ideas should be poured into the business. The real estate may be converted to village estate in our country for beginning of a new vista in such business concepts.
PRESENTLY CONSTRUCTION IS AT THE BOOM AND YET PEAK IS FAR AWAY,Thats why saturation in our life is impossible. The nuclear family system will further increase the demand in entire works.Pragya ji I agree with your views.
it is the saturation (accumlation) of money and not of construction.construction is booming because you will find apartments selling with the most modern/ultra amenities and costs touching sky.people are not thinking but spending like frenzy.
when the requirement of all sections of people is metwith. In the developing country, saturation would reach only when it become a developed country. Till such time, opprtunities are still available.
The wrong priorities in development. unable to anticipate and asses the requirement and affordability factor did lot of damage.
Investing the scarce invesment in areas where the demand is not anticipated judiciously is leading to the helpless conditions which is giving the false impression of saturation.
The greed to make more money, wishfull thinking without looking at pragmatic situation may lead to the notions of Saturation point and deceving ourselves when lot of opprtunities still available to exploit.
I agree with Pragya not many years it's not possible in construction industry, there can't be saturation unless there is not a bit of land left to develop, In perticular cities it might be the case but the development is all around many projects are coming up in the outskirts of the main cities, towns are growing in to cities and villages are turning in to towns, as thought it's otherwise there could be a slow down but there is no saturation that's for sure.
SATURATION is impossible in the field of Construction industry: Apparently it seems that construction industry had faced a downturn within few years( 1/2 yrs). But on the basis of those statistics, we cannot judge the future of this industry. If you look into the investment on infrastructure industry coming form the whole world, it will be clearer that we are going to have a huge & prospective future in this field. Though somebody should have contradictions in this regard, it will not be hard to realize that those are really apparent.
I would like to repeat once again the words of Mr. Omkar Kulkarni, Internal Auditor, Minilec (India) Pvt Ltd . Yes, in India minorities are far more better than any other country. If you look at the trend at the "poll results" it will be clearer that...
It has been a hot topic for the past few days/months whether we have recovered from the downturn or we are getting saturated in case of construction industry
