I see a lot of local soda water companies around - many of them still not hygienic. I just guess Mr. Pandianarjunan has moved on and only visits top end retail shops that does not stock the local bottles. Guess in a way you are only cementing the space to FDIs in the retail market.

Of course! FDI in Indian market will not only help the country by bringing the much needed financial muscle but also by generating jobs.

The anti FDI noises are just rhetoric of hard nosed political gamesmanship. But frankly its benefits need not even be contested.

It will lead to creation of new employment avenues, small traders only create jobs at a minor level, but bigger stores create chains of employment, including but not limited to ware houses, supply companies, packing companies ,advertising, builders maintainence. the list goes on there will be several new job profile created.wastage of crop items will be prevented due to the massive mechanism these companies have to move logistics around It will also set a trend in India quite opposite to the regular small trader setup. Money will be accounted for,as proper paper trail will be maintained and there will be more money put into infrastructure. This is one of the options to boost our depreciating Growth.

Do you know the production cost of coco cola and Pepsi? You are buying the can for fifteen rupees? the water which is the main content is pumped from your hygenic area, the hygenic chemicals, the incredients also your Indians. All over the production cost is 1.6 Rs per can. Marketting expenses is another one rupee .The balance where they are going to US.The poor inhygienic India spares thousands of crores rupees to US companies To stabilize financial position of India.POtatos and rice, dhalls all are already in market from china and pakistan. But a strong hand of Govt is required to stop or monitor to save our farmers. There are no sufficient cold storages for our farmers to store their goods and sell them in market when the prices are high. BUT Wal mart entered means.?our financial muscle? We are not only fooling the farmers but the poor people living in villages?Rs 53 = one dollar. after three years I hope the result will be __----

Iam a native of Madurai ,Tamilnadu.Till date Torino,Kalimark,Mappilaivinayagar soda are in the market. But ,the cococola and pepsi captured their 80% of market area because of their splendid money. They are investing thousands of crores in cricket field to stabilize their market. instead of spending money to your hygienic.some days before there was a case in high court cock roch found in the hygienic bottles. In supreme court there run a case stating they have crossed the limit of contents which spoils the consumers health. We need brand ,not hygienic. because the same people working in both areas (indians).Their research is telling the stories "the hot dogs are bringing cancer".We have to adopt our traditional foods .Our grands lived up to seventy years, but our sons are admitting in hospitals in thirty years. for Heart disease.Wal mart already in India, IN chennai,in punchab.Procuring tomato .potato , from china (which is a hygienic agricultural country.)I hope Punjab is the best agricultural area as five rivers are passing by.We have to learn a lot from wal mart and china, how to cultivate and how to sell to INdians.I hope Gandhi will come soon.

We know PEPSI and COCO cola destroyed the small sods water companies, they bought the leading companies in small town,,the poor people lost their jobs. the Traders switched over to them.they got employment and money.Like wise the middlemen will be the authorized agents of the forign companies and they will grow. even now, the farmers can not fix their prices for their products. The corporate people have and fix their salaries and work for them. But our poor farmers can not have their own prices for their products. Already globalization drowned the poor villagers, now the government throwing the rocks on their head. In a/c rooms we are discussing their future. without knowing their actual facts.Selling them should be condemned. Ours is an agricultural country, we know how to produce and how to sell. They once gave pesticides and urea to us to harm our cultivation method.......INSECTS and diseases developed. Now trades with ties and coat and full suits.Where is india going
