Gandhi is not symbol of India , he is symbol of congress , our culture is much older , people should examine Gandhis principle critically specially his anti industrilization mentality , also credit of India's freedom is not totally of Gandhi , rather it is hacked by Gandhi or his so called followers

Todays generation hardly knows about our father of the nation. school students atleast have some knowledge about him as he is refered in their text books. but others dont even know why he became father of the nation. Gandhiji today is only refered to as the face on the currency note.

I don't agree with you, even todays generation are aware of gandhi but they don't follow it blindly as what people did years back. That does not mean they are not aware of the him. Still his principles are been followed but in a different way according to the situation and environment.
