There is nothing wrong in promoting cricket as our national game .. Hockey has declined despite being a very fast game.Cricket is also a game of high level of skills..

According to our ancestors, India's national game is HOCKEY but doesn't it feel like our cricketers are getting more respect, fame and money then Hockey players ????

It's just a matter of shame that we need to reconsider our national game just because our system doesnot earn money with that game. Our national game is hockey. The generations of India, never could do good in their own national game... just because it was not supported by our lazy and dumb system. Otherwise, encouraging the game in schools, colleges etc could make it atleast well known among the people. Governments invest on their own to promote their national games and make it well known around the world... but India... it's other way round. :(

Actually hockey but people are not interested in it I don't know why. Hockey is more interesting than cricket. We should motivate the present generation to take it as a challenge and fight for out national game....
