Develop the required skill & target the Industry . And, hit it through Recruiting Consultant / Internet Job portals.

Reference has limited reach whereas Net & consultant scope is wider.

I dont have idea about indian job market, and even sometimes i use to get interview calls from different placement agenies in India. So i decide to take best advise from professional people like you miss Disha. Anyways thank you all guys for your valuable comments and suggestions!

Vastha or recomendation or reference is the only and best way to get a job in india. Consultants and internet can do the job but the final human interface of the person recruiting will give the job to the one he knows or likes.

For the really good ones, references work best. But placement consultants/ headhunters & internet can help you zero in on options.

we can get a job through internet but we cant get a better job,like preference given to women.Especially if we want a job in govt side reference given by local minister and central minister we have to pay money as a bribe,In private side we classify according to company,designation,salary and contractor side or client side according to that we have to get a reference from higher authority people

I am confused where I should I give my view, I think for getting job both internet/consultancy and references works, but the question is getting right or desired job, for which you must have references and also LUCK factor......

In INDIA, only reference works. Consultancies are also work with their references in other companies. We normally use a term "JUGAAD", which always works. So whoever is having Jugaad in other companies would get job.
