Desire is not confined to these two parameters. When you look at something which is appealing to you, you like to have it with a belief that it satisfies your want, this can be thing, money, or any other thing. This want becomes a desire, when it deeply sets in your mind. There is no end for desire. Where there is satisfaction, there is no desire. But, man never get satisfied with what he had, he is more interested in what he dont have.

I saw all the posting. Philosophically Desires and Attchment is the root cause of all the problems. Even asking for basic requirements is also a desire. If you take up an issue and go the roots, you will find desire or attachment as the cause of the problem..Nothing else..

In todays time every desire is backed by one thing only...."MONEY"..... One can do anything for money and about love.....it is like if u have money everyone will love u , but if u don't have money even u r PET DOG will not notice u.......

nowadays everyone not working for their basic requirement like food,cloths and home instead of these people are working for their extra requirement like in place of bike they want four wheeler, in place of 1 bhk they want 3 bhk, for domestic travel they prefer flights etc. means people increase their expenses for these extra expenses they need money means cause of desire in life is money.
