In the beginning of the career, the salary is the first thing to consider, because one doesnot know what the job is. So there is no need for job satisfaction. So attractive package is the basic motivation factor for which 99% employees work.Everybody looks for a better package then getting in current. As per the job satisfaction is concerned, As one reach at the peak of his/her career then salary doent matter. Then i think for most of employee find or trying to find the job satisfaction level. But this is a truth that both the things are required for a successful career, we cannot denied from this.Salary and satisfaction , both are different faces of same coin.

Job satisfaction is what everybody needs & desires. Agreed that money is important but it comes secondary. So job satisfaction is more important than money and every employee should look for it.....

Mostly, a good salary package is given to enterprising jobs. So, I think a good salary package will reward a nice satisfaction & work accomplishment.

Everybody is working to earn handsomely. Job satisfaction is secondary. As Pooja said, I agree with her. Career becomes priority once acquire 3-4 yrs experience for guarantee of good package availability.

Salary package while it is important it is also a temporary thing....at least as far as satisfaction is concerned. For a truly successful employment both are required....salary as well as job satisfaction. One without the other is incomplete and will result sooner or later in yet another job search.

Good salary Package is always attractive. And at initial stage everyone seek for a job with great package and company.. Job satisfaction comes in later stage when you have experience, stopped enjoying your work only at that time you wont see money.. it hardly matters

This is not an easy question to answer. At One point we feel that a good package is must a must for a job. At another point we long for job satisfaction. It is rare to get a job in which an individual gets both "Good salary package and Job Satisfaction". I vote for Good salary package as I am in my initial stage of my career.

BOTH ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT !

In Addition to Good Salary Package, Job Satisfaction Also.

Of course, job satisfaction is of top priority to any employee. Otherwise, even with huge package, the employee may feel quite depressed on his job, if he is not satisfied with his assigned job at his work place.

Both are equally important but without job satisfaction, you can't enjoy your work and no matter how much money you make, there won't be peace in one's life. I would like to ask this question to all, "How much money is enough money?".

For me job satisfaction is of topmost importance even if the compensation paid is a trifle less. But what would you do if the salary is good but the job sucks ! No way ! money isnt everything in life. For that matter i am not advocating that we should work for free if the job is good. Adequate compensation matching industry standards should do good !

        Job satisfaction is always important for every human being. Everybody earns money but only some of them earns the status. Those people who are unable to earn the status are always found nervous and tired of their life!! Although money is necessary to remain alive but it is not everything in life!! The person having enough salary and job satisfaction can be termed as successful person!
