It is certainly cool but I think we need not think about what others think about our Culture. We have rich culture. We profess our culture because we like it. Culture is what majority of peoples follow over a long period of time. There are many traditions in our country followed from time immemorial

I think Indian culture is cool...with so much of diversity we are still getting along well, but supersititious elements which were hampering our culture earlier is finding no relevance as people are evolving and changing, but the core remains the same one respects each others culture very much....yes at times there are issues...but still it gives a strong base for a nation to develop with so much of diversity.

@ Murlidharan You are right in the direction of question. I must admit that Indian Culture formed and re-forming in each era, adopting the good and bad with the people it gained. Also Due to its extensive research on each and every aspect on life, which is held high for regaining, recovering and finally developing life As a whole, the people of other countries see us as their saviors. But Mind my saying, seeing a book on one side, doesn't answer all the questions. If Indian Culture was that good, why people came from all over the world to dominate us and destroy of our cultural values and our wealth?? The Smallest country a.k.a. Britain took advantage of our Broken state and turned us around for their use. In the process broke our every cultural values we had. what can u say in that direction?

Culture is a Mix of all attributes of a particular people or All the knowledge and Values shared by a particular society, in this case Indian Culture. I agree that we have a great culture but also a great list of social evils, which we as descendants are also suffering, don't you ppl think so?? These things make it a very bad culture, even bad than the rest. Yeah there were great people born in this country who did great things in this land, but we seldom pay any tribute to them. A Fine Example is a festival called 'Deepawali', its original meaning has been lost over the generations. And yeah remember Yoga?? We rarely, leave alone seldom practice it, and yeah obviously you ppl must have heard that yoga and Ayurveda is being held in a very esteem position in other so-called cultures than in our culture. so don't be so cooly wooly abt our culture. After two great Blundering wars and whole set of Economic Upheaval People are Building themselves. So i hope all Get along well this time and start supporting the Human Culture as a whole.

People, first things first: People don't want to support other peoples culture, which happens to be a ground reality unless there is some profit underneath. As u all can refer the long forgotten and dusty books of history. I hate to say this but please don't be this ignorant and go into a state of bliss. The early stages of relations of Indian people and 'outsiders' was violent and solely towards exploitation. people can love others people only when their ideas match. so please open your eyes and become real.
