Its been a month I have been asking myself a question and looking for an answer to that all along. Be it the newspaper, TV, internet or conversing with people around me,at the back of my mind its that one question which haunts me.

Considering the way inflation rates are going, my question would sound very out of context to some, but still i wanna share it with my friends here... What's the cheapest thing in India?

Sounds good, in a situation where prices seem to sky rocket everyday, I am looking for something that doesnt cost much now.

Neway s forget my silly question, i am sure you guys must have seen the ghory visuals on TV of that cop who died on camera, not to forget the minister and the convoy who were present there to see him die. I was amazed at the way people were actually shooting and making videos on their phone, when the bleeding police officer was crying for help...One thought that came to my mind is, that everything that happens around us has explanations and reasons but not actions.

There have been numerous explanations on who all were there and what they were upto, but not one was guilty and thought we could save him. So it all boils down to a blame game and rounds of explanations again.

With my mind full of images, i changed the channel on TV, and saw the media carrying the visuals of the body of the 21 year old boy who was burnt and killed in
Australia. To top it all, the victim's uncle said, the Indian Govt. did not even bother to send the body home, so the relatives had to come to Delhi to get it.
It struck me again, so many attacks and deaths of Indians in Australia, but the result has been nothing more than blame games. Indian govt. blaming Australian, they blaming the Indian media and vice versa, what happens to the dead and their families is no one's concern.

I was so pissed of and decided to change the channel, there i was again a news channel showed 105 people in North India died because of cold and when Govt. was questioned, the officials said "We will look into it and form a committee to find out"
Is that the only explanation for letting 105 people die.

So i sat back and thought about everything that i had seen over these weeks, and finaly what stuck me was, that I had found an answer to my question. So i go back to it again

What's the cheapest thing in India, and I got my answer, its 'HUMAN LIFE' in India...
Its so cheap that the Indian Govt. can afford to lose it very easily, without bothering about the number. Life of Its citizen, is one thing thats not valuable for our Govt.

So friends, i really wanna know what you think of this and you agree to it or not, Don't we have a right to ask our Govt... Isn't our life precious for you ???

Rajashree I am not clear with the sides, can you please make it clear. What are you trying to discuss in this debate about the humanities or the objects. If it is for human it is our duty to approach the government and fight for our rights. So if you make it more clear we can discuss more relevantly.

i do agree with you when we look at present situation the scenario perfectly fits your observation.Human Life is cheapest & the biggest shame is that it is made cheap by humans themselves.
