To be a member of Toostep, one should be receptive, without any prejudices, open-minded, try to avoid personal insinuations, not cynical, but open to positive criticism, understand the flip side of the argument and take essence from them, and more importantly, avoid debates which affect national integrity!

Yes there are many irrelevant discussions and the best we can do is to avoid those and find the good ones which might be helpful for us. We do not have to argue and get personal because this is a virtual platform and we are here to gain something and not loose our mind.

Well Said Mr. Rohit. A true professional will argue within the precincts of the subject. Emotions have no place to play here. Those who dont have a stand on a particular subject will try to hit the bush around and turn emotional. Personal cticism cannot be called as professionalism. Everybody will have his own perception. There is nothing wrong. He will speak from the dimension he seen in a particular problem. With this we could find different solutions for a problem/situaition. The ultimate goal of social media of this kind is to find alternative solutions for a problem/situation and disseminate the ideas among the members. Unprofessional debates are being posted deviating the mere objective.

Thank You Rohit for referal. A person should be broad minded professional while interacting with others on Too Step or for that matter in any other field. You can not have the same view point as the other person have. But at the same time you should not think that your view point is the only valid view point. It is because everybody speaks his or her mind according to situation or the environment he is in. Being a human being one should respect the other's view point. The extent, he can choose but it should be a respectable one.

I think the options given are quite similar. A broad minded can't be serious one or v/v??? In fact one who is serious and broad minded can be a toostep user. He must be contributing to the group/post rather than deviating it from track. The post must be purely knowledge based and not a mere news based discussions/debates/opinions. Recently I hv seen many such posts which pushed me little away from toosteps. The posts exhibiting knowledge, ideas, technology, trends, future tech, technology-society relationships, etc. are more anticipated from relevant domain experts.

Hi it can be both, but this is not made for the personal discussion. we have the flexibility so that all are invited to share their views. IF it is professional it could be very advantageous instead of boring with unneccessary issues. its my openions gurus
