What Should be done with Govt Agencies and Who will do it ?

The bulletproof jacket worn by ATS chief late Hemant Karkare during 26/11 terror attacks has gone missing, wife of the slain officer has alleged, raising serious questions on the manner in which materials of evidence were preserved.

"When his body was found, the bulletproof jacket was missing,even at the hospital.I filed RTI application a few months back asking where is the jacket but the reply I got was that it is missing.

What action should be taken against government agencies and who should take actions ?

Even if the Officers are suspended they are not going to learn or they also wont try to change their attitude.

Strict action should be taken and that should be a lesson for all others .

They are not at all afraid of the government personnels since their jobs are always safe and they need not worry like other people going to private companies seeking jobs.

They have a attitude as to "Who is going to ask if what is done " since the govt official sitting just above them might already have given assurance to proceed.

Instead of saying strict action to be taken, it should be a definite action like punishing for a week or a month of a length of duration that can be determined. For this purpose i am endorsing week's time, as it quantifies the action to be taken instead of a vague term like strict... and politicians and officials are bound to take advantage of vagueness.

I think there will be no votes for "Suspend Officers for a week's time" option here. It's merely a fact.

 

Govt. should come forward and accept it's fault. There has to be a probe into the issue and the case has to be given to CBI. This is possible with protests. I think the Indian youth can do wonders and all that lacks now is a trigger

There should be an imprisonment of not less than 6 months and permanent suspension from the services for all the reckless people behind this so that the others can not repeat such mistakes.

All involved should be brought to court & punished by independent jury,without any political pressure.But chances are few since govt. has to hide its face so the things will not come out as the real truth.RTI use is commendable but its power in India is still a ?That's why we need someone like Kiran Bedi to head as CIC to set things right.at least a bit. I have posted a debate in her support,plz refer and express your views.

Suspension for a week or ten days is not a solutions. This is the time that Young Brigade of India should wake up and suggest as to what should be action which needs to be taken.
