This is a Sane option to opt for, because believe me i have seen a start up grow, even if your Website appears on the first page of any search engine....it doesnt guaranty you customers but cold calling does. Also emailing doesnt solve any problem until your prospect reads and acts on that email.

So to generate that push for your prospects, it is definitely cold calling followed by emailing the information if required, and then do follow up regularly so as to keep the prospect engaged and meet them.

To me Website is just another way to easily access, impart or receive information whenever and wherever required.

Hi Anurang interesting debate but your comment confused me to take a side and comment.

I will say SEO will be a better option. Nowadays many startup companies are trying to master in SEO because it is the best medium to reach people easily. Today everyone is going online so you need to show case your company in the web.  This will help in developing your brand as well as your market.
