We have been patronizing the Civil Engineering based knowledge-sharing blog- 'BRICKS-n-MORTAR.com' since April 2008, which essentially encompasses 'A COMMON MAN'S civil engineering related doubts and queries' We firmly believe against the web-gurus' usual advice of regularly (read multiple on daily basis) posting web material on one's blog, no matter if the quality is maintained or not, for the simple fact that it helps in drawing the search engines' attention and thereby respective rankings (PR points etc.). However, we have been posting selective knowledge-sharing posts since the inception of our blog earning loyalty and admiration of our niche blog readers and subscribers. Notwithstanding what we believe, MAY WE KNOW WHATS YOUR OPINION ON THIS MATTER?

Hi

Regular posting is good, it does not mean you post ordinary things. When you post daily you see many good knowledge items and you gain knowledge. I regularly login and post some interesting things which will help me and others. I learned lot through this platform.

Thanks.....

Wow! clear verdict received in favour of REGULAR POSTS (but, definitely not JUST ORDINARY POSTS).

Thanks to all the contributors to our first ever Question posted on TooStep platform... a platform we have started to like unlike Yahoo answers, Answer dot com and similar other platforms.

Loving the experience. Thanks to all you guys once again.

Thanks for the referral Ms.Sonam ji.

I agree with you and the postings should have genuine, informative, and quality subjects.

Mr. Makrand ji and Mr. Nitin ji have explained well.

If any post are interesting and have some knowledge on that wont come under the category of ordinary. In fact it would be better if you would explain in detail about these two sides. People are always interested in getting latest informations, knowledge and they wont mind if it is regular or ordinary. Thanks for referal Sonam.

Why is Regular posting called or known as ORDINARY??

I think that anything where you have interesting things to talk about everyday is a quality blog. In fact its like creating a thread of thoughts that require daily feeding and updating. which also means that there will automatically be more and more people logging onto to the blog REGULARLY. Your blog gains the popularity, people atart participating and then you get more involvement from the junta and even some great ideas.

The thing that you need to ensure is the quality of the blog. You are on your way.. :))

I do not want to go either side .... simple reason is that ... if you have quality and interesting post you can share it daily or as and when available .... it is not essentially required to post daily or twice a week ..

Altogather it depends on post, stuff and yourself.
