It is not that the so called custodians are not aware of the issues and problems, the fun is to address tham and solve them to the best of public's satisfaction , otherwise the website will merely remain another election plank to fool people

I agree with Tina, In our country population is very high so posting complaint/suggestion to CM website is not possible to clear all those things, Like a same there are also chances for many fake complaints. While we make direct complaint is not cleared properly, then how will people trust via website. Thank you

Tina I fully agree with you and I feel the CM's should actually give details of actions initiated on the complaint received in that case it will be fruitful other wise it is only a public gimmick.

Yes I agree with you Ms. Tina. Their attempt to be modern & in the current trend is welcome. But, it is a thousand million dollar question," how far , are they successful in using this tool for betterment of people, really speaking?.

Yes You are saying true that it is the way of publicity. When Internet user seen the facebook side of any politician then they talk to their friends that CM is so good that he listen and accept the peoples problem through net. There is nothing for country and countrie's people

Tina, the best option for Chief Ministers to assess the problems is to set up contact centres upto block level, get the summary from each Block, Problems reported (highlighting severity level), Action Taken, if action not taken, why action is pending(fund allocation problem, funds available but no political will due to opposition pressure, etc., remedial measures possible, etc. This will give bird's eye view of the state of control. As Tina said, this is just an eyewash, otherwise! Thanks Mr. Shrikant for referral.

CM websites are a mere publicity or a show of aristrocacy. Write a problem or a querry there is no answer. In Trinamul Website I wrote a serious problem and asked for CM's intervention. I got an automated reply. Finally inspite of mentioning that my age is 60 years I got an invitation to join YOUTH !!!!!! wing og the party. Mr Rahul Gandhi has a face book page where he writes "banis'. So many people writes so many things criticising or gasing none got reply. I cursed him just to see whether he replies. But no. So it is clear these are political gimmick and now Mamota is joining the group. Like those it will be of no use.

It is a good initiative, provided CMs appoint somebody to read the comments, bring it to CMs notice and post his replies. Then it becomes interactive and good.

The very fact that our uneducated ministers want to keep with the times itself is good news. Imagine all the red tape if you want to send them a message, with a website it would be more easier hopefully. But the moot question is here how often and how seriously do they go through their website. When chandra babu naidu was the CM of AP, he was very serious and IT oriented. He used to go through his site and check his mails diligently. Hope our netas become more IT savy in the days to come.

No Tina, these CM's wish to know the feedback from people on their policy & problem. It is true that due to time constraints or any other reason they may not able to solve all the problems instantly at least some of them they can immediately attend & these feed backs reach them thro' their Sr.bureaucrats who is exclusively appointed to monitor & bring to the notice of CM & forward online to the respective dept. for action/explanation. It is a better arrangement rather making people travel all the way to their office in order to submitt their grievances in person & CM just listen for a few second and handover the petition to his PA & then it lost its way in reaching concern dept official. There by saving time, money for both people & CM. Peoples self respect will also be intact rather making a bee line for this so called Janatha Dharshan/Darbar.. At-times, people will travel all the way just to complain on silly matters. These complaints on line can be directly referred to the concerned HOD for action. It works Tina, do not be so negative & doubtful. Even Video conferences is another tool which is very helpful.

It is good initiative certainly IF AND ONLY IF handled effectively and efficiently. See today for exapmple, we only hear about the news which creates sensation or gain more STAR RATING from news dispensers. Off late ask any citizen and 99% knows only negative things like corruption etc thats the buzz word!! but how many know what are all the works that a CM has been doing that leaves the state better? But if we go through the PIB news of PMO or CMO or their websites, we see the many decisions taken, activities going on etc! Only problem here is systems have just started to fall in place and its a start - thats why we call it INITIATe-ive. For these to become effective, it might take some time till it becomes the most accepted and reliable form of NEWS dispensing!!

NO DOUBT IT IS A GOOD INITIATIVE. BUT THE QUESTION IS WILL THE C.M HAS THE TIME TO ANSWER ALL OUR QUERIES.

Good initiative, if the CM's themselves pay interest to look in. If not, bureaucrats will provide filtered information, which deviates the purpose. To get connected with the people directly, it is the best way even. We Indians are good initiators, but fail to continue the spirit of initiation.
