Providing a full-time accommodation is not possible but at least the first week or 2 should be fair as they are outstation employees and they find it difficult to adjust with the new environment for work

Mostly, companies accommodate employees in Hotel / Guest house, when they find staying is short duration & the size of people is small. Or else, depending on the category of employee, company reimburse the boarding & lodging expenses as per the company regulations. There are occasion where employee are asked to stay for a month in guest house and are paid subsequently, the living allowances to stay put out-side at their discretion. However, it is always advisable to seek the comfort of the employee before his arrival , the choice of preference of boarding & lodging. This will ease both the parties mental tension. Thanks for referral Ms Sarika.

This is a decision each company must take after ascertaining size, frequency and similar factors of visit. In many cases having a guest house is hugely cost saving.

Accomodation should be propvded for a tension free service at a difference place owing to 1. away from family and to avoid worreis for family 2. He can fully concentrate on his job 3, His mind also will be tension free 4. Being a new man in the place he may not be ablt to know the details, to gert the house or accomodation After serving in many places and having serived on transfer i have been a victim so so have tasted the extreme diffulties hence authotically i feel accodomdation should be proved or at least management should help to find out

most of the companies provide accomodation only during call for interview, other times the employee is asked to make his own arrangements

When corporates accommodate in guest house or hotel, medium and small industries may tie up with a serviced apartment provider. Both are fair.

For a growing organisation the service apartment is the most suitable and beneficial option to provide accommodation to its out station employees since the facilities available in a company's guest house are limited.I edorse the idea raised by Sarika. S.N.Patra

Serviced Apartment providers generally provide corporate housing solutions for both long and short-term accommodation requirements. There is one point-of-contact for all billing and management requirements. Several organizations tie up with real estate agents to lease properties on long term and furnish it themselves but with a serviced apartment you get a fully furnished and well equipped home.
