Yes,indian judiciary system certainly needs to be revisied,as it is rightly said "justice delayed is justice denied" to set matters in place a provision of immediate adminstration of justice must be ensured, and this can happen only, when we have more strict laws.

I think the judicial committees (I am sure there are many) which are studying the changes must be strengthened and de-politicised. New manpower and more facilities must be given to them so that the old archaic laws must be scrapped and new ones re-written, Not amended. The amendment clauses, at times outnumber some of the original clauses in many old laws creating ambiguities in their interpretations by various courts.

Rewriting them is not the need of the day. Plugging the loopholes and weak laws to be strengthened is the need of the day. The scope of litigancy shall be addressed and judicial reforms have to be taken up.

Yes, it is needed to re-write. It is mainly due to the fact that our laws are based on primarily British thoughts and we are still following the same barring a few amendments. Our laws must be based on our cultures and thoughts and only then it will be a success.

whats is the use of rewriting when one cant rely upon its applicability. it was very rightly said about indian laws by someone in a debate that we talk about right to freedom of speech but what after that. the consequences make the life worse so i think it needs proper awakening and attention

yes, as everywhere the version gets update, even in law, changes should be done. particularly in law, instead of refering the previous cases, and writing new ones, its better to assume or keep in present circumstances and accordingly re-write.

Yes, it should. because it impractical law, imposed by the British Rulers. It always pendency of cases. it provides justice even much delay, even after death of victim / accused. I feel Delayed Justice is itself amount to injustice.

Constituition of Indian Law is the best Law in the world. The problem here in India is we do not implement them properly. If we implement the laws to the fullest strength, then we will be the no. 1 developed country in the world. We need not to re-write our whole laws. We can just ammend, withdraw, replace some flaw-ful laws & Introduce some new laws to cope up with current situation of the society. It is just waste of time & of no use if we re-write our whole laws & we do not implement them properly as we are doing currently.
